an electronic "Simulated Grand Piano" will be provided,
authentically recreating realistic grand piano tone through actual individual-note digital samples of a real grand piano,
which are brought to life through a stereo speaker system.

ABOUT BARRY

Barry Gould has been tinkling the ivories (and ebonies) since age one when his parents introduced him to the piano keyboard from their laps. From early teen years he has continued to perform and record in various genres and venues for about 25 years. Barry is a graduate of New England Conservatory of Music and member of the Concord Chamber of Commerce.

Received Honorable Mention in John Lennon Songwriting Contest with jazz-fusion composition entitled Fusionite

Invited by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple to tour as keyboardist with his band Blackmore’s Night

Arranged strings and keyboards and performed as keyboardist on recording for Alan Gorrie of Average White Band.

Recorded original song demo as lead vocalist, keyboardist, and arranger accompanied by members of Average White Band: Alan Gorrie, Roger Ball and Steve Ferrone (also of Eric Clapton, Duran Duran, Chaka Khan...).

Arranged medley of musical theater classics commissioned by the Yamaha Symphonic Band, which was featured in a concert at Act City Main Concert Hall, Hamamatsu, Japan.

Jong Ho Park, Korean vocalist and recording artist; Worked as sole arranger, pianist, keyboardist, and MIDI keyboard drummer on all but one track for mostly a cappella album for Korean label.

Hyung Joo Yoon, Korean vocalist and recording artist; Worked as sole arranger, pianist, and keyboardist on all songs on two albums for Korean label.

Was composer, keyboardist, singer, and leader of Jazz-Fusion-Pop Group; On two occasions performed as opening act for The Jeff Lorber Fusion (Kenny G), at Toad’s Place, New Haven/Waterbury, CT.

Stage musicals: Three seasons of Ebenezer Scrooge’s Christmas Carol and seven performances of Celestial City (Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress) at principal playhouse in Concord, MA: Worked as music director, keyboardist, arranger and orchestrator on the production team with the author/director.

Performed solo piano/keyboard/vocal concerts in various halls and churches throughout Japan, including "salon" piano concerts with antique piano demonstrations at the Bosendorfer Piano Japan headquarters.
